i appreciated the easy walk to the city center from bishopthorpe road , right across from the winning post pub. our room provided all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. i found the option for free on-street parking very convenient.
the pressure in the shower wasn't amazing , and a multi-setting head would have improved it.

the room had a lovely bed , a tv , a desk , a wardrobe , and bedside drawers. shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were all provided in individual bottles , which was very helpful.

the location is nice , offering a direct bus to the city. alternatively , a 25-minute walk will get you there. many pubs , cafés , and restaurants are within easy reach from here.

The room was very clean and had good facilities. Check-in was straightforward. Staff were helpful and responsive to any questions I had! I appreciated the proximity to local amenities.
The room did not have an elevator and my room was at 2nd floor. Carrying my luggage upstairs was hard.

There are various options within a short walk from the hotel. I found many pubs and restaurants just around the corner! The Winning Post pub, located opposite the hotel, is very convenient and had AMAZING food!!!

The room featured a super comfy bed! plus, i found a very useful mini fridge in the room. the fan was really good. It kept the whole room cool which i really appreciated. the location was convenient, close to everything i wanted to see.
the kettle cord was damaged. this made it impossible to use, a bit inconvenient.

i found parking just outside the front doorstep, it was really convenient, i didn't have to walk far! the fridge was a good size for my needs, so that was perfect for storing my snacks. wifi was very good too

the location was fantastic! it was only a short walk into town, i loved how close i was to everything. i enjoyed the fact that there was a bus stop nearby for easy access to the city. location was nice.

the room was very clean. i really liked that they have coffee and tea available. the neighborhood is nice, it has local shops nearby.
the kettle cord was damaged so i could not use it. the wifi in my room wasn't good enough for my tablet. there were no bedside light and the light switch was far from the bed.

The room was spacious. It featured two large beds. The bathroom included both a shower and a bathtub. This was very convenient for my family. A fridge was available in the room. A kettle was also provided, as well as a TV. There was even a fan. This helped with the warmer weather.
The telephone check-in felt impersonal. I prefer a face-to-face welcome.
