The hotel is located just outside the town centre in a very pleasant suburb of the city with a real village feeling. The rooms are nicely designed, featuring modern facilities and comfortable beds, enhanced by a lovely period fireplace. The service is warm and friendly, and the room service adds to the convenience. However, the dining experience could be improved by offering more protein choices like eggs, although fresh salmon was a highlight. The location is in a nice area of York, not far from shops and with plenty of food places nearby. Overall, a charming hotel with some areas for enhancement.
The hotel is situated in a very pleasant suburb of the city with a real village feeling, offering a great area vibe and being little outside the city center. The rooms are decent sized, with good facilities already in the bedroom, making it a comfortable stay overall. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located in the first area where the single beds were, so might not be the best pick for solo travelers.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with large bathrooms and nice facilities. The key card was a bit tricky, but overall a great experience. The service was top-notch with warm, friendly staff and excellent room service. The location was superb, just outside the town centre in a very pleasant suburb with a village feeling and nice cafes nearby. The dining could have offered more protein like eggs, but the served bread toasts were delicious. The facilities were convenient and well-kept.
